HELLENIC SEAWAYS is certified to international Quality and Environmental & Energy Management standards in accordance with ISO 9001:2008, 14001:2004 & 50001:2011.

 

As part of its ongoing improvement of services based on the principles of environmental protection and passenger care and safety, HELLENIC SEAWAYS has been certified by the international certification body Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance in accordance with ISO 50001:2011 for energy management. 

 

 

 

LLOYD'S REGISTER QUALITY ASSURANCE - ISO 9001:2008

The company has been certified for the quality of its passenger services by the international body LLOYD'S REGISTER QUALITY ASSURANCE in accordance with ISO 9001:2008.

 

 

 

LLOYD'S REGISTER QUALITY ASSURANCE - ISO 14001:2004

The company has been certified by the international body LLOYD'S REGISTER in accordance with ISO 14001:2004 for the environmental management system implemented on its vessels and at its onshore facilities.

 

 

 

LLOYD'S REGISTER QUALITY ASSURANCE - HACCP

LLOYD'S REGISTER certification for the implementation and application of the HACCP system ensuring a high level of hygiene in the storage, processing and serving of food and beverages. 

 

 

 

GREEN STAR

The Nissos Mykonos and the Nissos Chios were certified in 2006 and 2008 respectively by the Italian Register of Shipping (RINA) for full compliance with all the necessary environmental protection regulations.  

 

 

 

CERTIFICATE OF QUALITY TRAINING

The company received certification from the innovative company Videotel Marine International for the provision of quality training to its fleet’s crews in 2002.

 

 

 

ISM

ISM (International Safety Management Code) certification. Awarded to the company and its fleet in 2000.

 

 

 

ISPS CODE

ISPS Code certification for the prevention of illegal acts on the company’s vessels.
